If you know Charley, Andrew and their families, you would know there really isn’t anything more I could add to or say about the type of kind, thoughtful loving and considerate people they all are. Family is everything to Charley and Andrew, the love and respect from their friends towards them and their families as a whole was truly on display 366 days ago. Yes, I’m a day late in getting this blog post out, but better late then never huh.
As for the wedding day itself, it was epic. No one wants rain on their wedding day and at some points, it really was pouring.
One of the most notable things for me was I did not once hear, anyone say a negative towards the weather. Sure It would have made things a tiny bit smoother if it wasn’t raining, but to these guys it just didn’t matter, this was their wedding day, nothing was going to dampen their spirits [no pun Intended, haha]. It was just beautiful.
After the ceremony in the Greek Orthodox Church in Morwell, all the family photos and a few bridal shots inside the church, they limo-ed up and headed to St Kilda Botanical Gardens. As we arrived, it was like someone had their hand on the rain off switch. It stopped raining, the sun even poked its head out for a little while we wandered through the Gardens having a tonne of fun while creating images.
It didn’t start light raining again till we were walking to the cars. Movie script kinda stuff that!!
The Party / Reception: There were beautiful heartfelt speeches, some tears loads of laughter, lots of hugs, a cake was cut, a bridal waltz, a father-daughter dance… Then it was greek music when you have a room full of happy, happy greeks and greek music is now pumping like the BIG Day Out, Expresso Martinis flowed like a champagne fountain, do they know how to have a good time, bulk fun was had by all.
Anyways I just want to say happy first anniversary + 2 days.
