Teagan + Jay wanted to include their furbabies in their Engagement Shoot, so we headed to a dirt road in amongst some half grown pine trees. As can happen, the dogs’ willingness to participate was questionable at times, haha, but they’re cute and Teagan + Jay rocked it! We even got the sun breaking through the clouds and decided to jump in the cars and head to a gum plantation as well, it literally rained before we started shooting, and as soon as we finished, perfect timing to not have to get the umbrellas out.
Jay seems quiet when you first meet him, but this guy has a wicked sense of humour, and it’s pretty obvious that these two really respect each other. They keep it real and are down to earth, just chatting with them about wedding day details this week I could see how supportive they are to each other. I think they were both a bit nervous about being in front of my camera, but that’s a big part of the reason I love doing a pre-wedding shoot, it’s all about building a relationship with you and helping you to be able to relax and enjoy your wedding day.
We’re really looking forward to being there to capture these two awesome people say I Do this weekend at Bonnie Brae Farm. We’ve got the honour of telling their story with photo + video, so keep an eye on our socials for a sneak peek over the weekend/next week.
