It’s not often I get anywhere near emotional during a wedding, but the moment I witnessed and captured the hug Ashlynne received from her dad a few moments before he gave her away, was just amazing… My eyes may have glazed over a little at that moment… It really is a privilege to witness these events and to be given the honour and trust to capture these moments in couples and their families lives. It is something that I hope to continue on doing for a long time to come.
If I could pick a fault with this wedding, it actually wouldn’t even be anything about the wedding, it could have just been at least 10 degrees cooler, 40 degree days and weddings don’t go together all that well… Having said that it did cool down a little after the ceremony and with Toms Cap being the amazing location it is, we were able to find some shade amongst the vines and continue their story …
One of the things I’m enjoying so much of late, is the artistic freedom a lot of couples are giving us with both the shoot and post in production. This allows us to make every wedding story as individual as our couples are.
Thank you Ashlynne & Steve for giving us the opportunity and trusting us to capture your wedding and create these memories for you both.
