When I first met Hollie + Aaron, they were planning a November wedding, then Hollie found out her brother was going to be posted with the Navy, which would mean he wouldn’t even be in Australia on their original date. Luckily they could still have all their dreams come true, albeit in March instead of November. Changing the date with no hesitation is just one indication as to how lovely these two humans are, Hollie literally complimented every single guest when they hugged her after the ceremony.
Hollie’s bridesmaid was her cousin Helen, who, along with other family travelled all the way from Germany (affectionally referred to as “the Germans”), there was an incredible amount of love in the air at Stones of the Yarra Valley and I may have actually got a bit teary during the ceremony!
After their morning ceremony in the Chapel, we explored the grounds for photographs before their lunchtime reception in the Barn, guests then headed to Meletos for afternoon drinks and nibbles, this is one hell of a venue!
If you’ve seen the Latrobe Valley Express Wedding Planner, you’ll have noticed Hollie in her amazing Mariana Hardwick gown on the cover, here’s more from their beautifully rustic floral wedding day (vendor list at the end).
